Alvaro earned his PHD in Computer Science at the University of Granada working on the development of recommender systems and fuzzy linguistic modeling,  before pursuing a career in telecommunications working for Telefonica as a lead data scientist.

In 2020 he decided to put his experience into the development and application of deep learning and artificial intelligence in the financial and currency markets founding Veleta. AI. 

He continues to lecture for UNIR for the MSC courses in Artificial intelligence and Big Data.

Marcos obtained his degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Málaga. He has extensive experience as a CTO and Technical lead across multiple projects including Autonomous driving driving assistance and parking visualisation systems for a number of large automotive manufacturers, and designing and developing a mobile network control system for generators. Over the last ten years he has mastered the latest tools and technologies to manage any project. His meticulous attention to details is the engine of Veleta.AI.

He is a  highly skilled ADAS professional with an outstanding Hardware and Software background, who combines team management expertise with an ever-growing technology skillset, gained over 15 years of software and electronic engineering challenges and problems.

Juan earned his PHD at the University of Granada in Computer Science along with his Masters in Soft Computing and Intelligent systems. Juan is a highly respected and published researcher alongside a hands-on approach to driving technology development, advanced analytics/AI and most recently quantum computing.

Following his educational career he has pursued a career first as an IT consultant before advancing into the development of AI and Advanced Analytics in Telefonica and most recently with E.ON as the Chief Data Officer and Global Head of Advanced Data and Analytics.

Alongside his commercial pursuits he is visiting research fellow with the University of Oxford and has recently published a book - Energy Systems in Smart Cities and Rural areas.

Matthew has over 25 years of commercial leadership and a track record of driving significant growth in digital businesses and large scale digital and technology transformation programmes in large corporations.

He is currently working at E.ON SE as the Chief Digital and Technology Officer leading the digital and technology transformation programme for the E.ON group. He has built a holistic digital and technology programme touching all areas of the business, including culture, digital re-platforming businesses, IOT, applying AI to wind turbines, grids and customer acquisition / retention.

Matthew also holds an Independent Non Executive Board role with the National Bank of Kuwait in London and is advising the UK Government on digital transformation as a member of the Digital Advisory Board for HM Government Cabinet Office.

Raúl is Civil Engineer with a Master in Computer Applications by the Open University of Catalonia. Raúl is alternating his work on the application of Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence at Veleta.ai with his passion of becoming an expert in Data Science, currently he is a PhD candidate with focus on applying Deep Learning to solve problems in Smart Cities.

Isaac is an Associate Professor in Data Science at the University of Nottingham and is one of the most important Machine Learning researchers of the current time, he appears in the 2% Top Researchers 2020, a list elaborated by the university of Stanford. Isaac is collaborating with Veleta.ai to help us to face any existing forecasting challenge as well as to find any other we could never think of.

Alberto is a Computer Science Engineer with a Master's in Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems from the University of Granada. Alberto is alternating his work as a Senior Software Engineer with more than 8 years of experience with his work as a Data Engineer helping set up the complex system required at Veleta.ai with his passion for becoming an expert in Data Science, currently he is a Ph.D. candidate with a focus on applying complex Recommender Systems on the world of trading and finance.

Blanca is a Computer Science Engineer with a Master's in Data Science from the University of Granada. Blanca is alternating her work as a Data Engineer with more than 3 years of experience with her work as a Data Engineer at Veleta helping set up the complex real-time low latency connection systems required at Veleta.ai.
